Vweta Chadwick Selected for Mandela Washington Fellowship

Project ASHA's Global Programmes Director, Vweta Chadwick is one of the 1000 outstanding young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa selected to participate in this years Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, an initiative of the US President, Barack Obama.

Vweta will be studying Civic Leadership at the University of Delaware for the 6 weeks fellowship period.

Upon her return, she intends to initiate multi-stakeholder actions to ensure that every woman and girl has unhindered access to the internet and are able to lead a life as independent as possible.
