REGISTER: POETRY SPOTLIGHT - AMPLIFYING FEMALE VOICES, RAISE THE BARS!
In preparation for the Vweta Chadwick Poetry Prize, we are pleased to inform you that project ASHA is organizing a 3 days Poetry Spotlight pre-event poetry slam/open mic event to amplify the voices of females and raise the Bars. The event will feature pure talents from participants on the prize contest and anyone who cares to perform.
If you are passionate about poetry as a tool for advocacy and social change, then this is for you. The event is open to all poets, from all over the world both male and female.
This is an opportunity to showcase your talent as a poet to a large virtual audience, sharpen you skills, network and connect with industry experts and many more exposures it hopes to offer.
As a participant, you can read poems from other artists or perform original pieces. However you want it, there's mic for everyone. Each performances should be in line with the days' theme.

30th July - Poetry on EcoFeminism
31st July - Poetry on Women in Conflict Zone
1st August - Poetry on Women in Leadership
Time: 8pm Daily
