ASHA Virtual Pitch Contest: Meet The Finalists

Asha is set for her first ever Virtual Pitch Contest for females in STEM. After a pool of well qualified but competitive entries and a very careful selection process, 13(thirteen) girls have been shortlisted to participate in the final pitch event. This only gets better! and ASHA is excited about the progress of the contest. The finalists who have displayed intelligence and passion for the digital world are gearing up for the final event which will be held virtually, for two days.

We are so excited to be engaging more girls and women in the digital and tech space. Our goals and visions sails toward bridging the digital gender gap and encouraging more female inclusion in STEM especially marginalized ones.

13th November 2021 – Accelerating Female Participation in Tech. Asha will be hosting renowned facilitators and industry experts to discuss and proffer solutions to sustaining female journey in Technology.

This project has received very strong support from;

1. Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) provided the panel of judges and this is a huge relief for team ASHA.

2. Tech4dev supplied all the participants with 10g data allowances to support their online presence; to make research and safely participate in the pitch contest. Tech4Dev is also offering FREE virtual boot camps for the girls after the pitch event. This is a double win.

3. Female Techprenuer is offering FREE virtual bootcamps to girls on the pitch project. we are truly excited and looking forward to redeeming this positions.
