Inspiring Hope & Transforming Lives

Vweta Chadwick was a registered Social Worker with Social Care Wales.

She dedicated the last 16 years of her life towards finding solutions to some of the most pertinent problems confronting women and girls in Africa and the West, through Project ASHA (an NGO she founded in 2004).

ASHA is a girl's name of Swahili, Hindi, and Sanskrit origin meaning "hope; life".

So Projectasha.Org is an initiative dedicated to “Inspiring Hope & Transforming Lives.”

If what you do inspires hope in others and transform their lives for the better, then you are ASHA (life and hope) to those you affect.

Hence the hashtag

#IAMASHA.
